End of the Blog

I started this blog in 2005 to share information and chronicle the events of the ongoing struggle to defend our forests from Maxxam/Pacific Lumber. With their inevitable bankruptcy, caused by the over logging of our precious Redwood forests, I grew tired of posting all the time. Our forests still need your help, no matter where you are on Earth. Please do something where you live to defend our planet from destructive industrial plunder.

If you are interested, please look through the archives. There is a lot of info that is still relevant as well as a lot of pictures of ancient forests and industrial timber lands that you can only find here.

To learn about current logging/forest issues in the Redwood region check out these links:

Here you can research logging plans yourself:

Did your unemployment benefits run out or mom and dad cut the cord? Was it time to actually go get a real job and stop your daydreaming of how cool it would be if the world supported you?

Your work against the Pacific Lumber over logging is well known. It's sad to see your blog go but I just want to say kudos to you for all your work.

There has to be more effort for saving more trees. There are cutting down of trees for selfish use which is making the environment dis-balanced.
