End of the Blog

I started this blog in 2005 to share information and chronicle the events of the ongoing struggle to defend our forests from Maxxam/Pacific Lumber. With their inevitable bankruptcy, caused by the over logging of our precious Redwood forests, I grew tired of posting all the time. Our forests still need your help, no matter where you are on Earth. Please do something where you live to defend our planet from destructive industrial plunder.
If you are interested, please look through the archives. There is a lot of info that is still relevant as well as a lot of pictures of ancient forests and industrial timber lands that you can only find here.

Did your unemployment benefits run out or mom and dad cut the cord? Was it time to actually go get a real job and stop your daydreaming of how cool it would be if the world supported you?

Sorry this is gone. Just started reading forestry conservation blogs and this seemed like a good one!
Every single step can help. And, I really appreciate your work done here on this blog to aware people to save our forests. I know one initiative by Samsung Printer i.e. Minus One Project that is for the same cause - Saving forests.
It takes a small step like reducing the font size by 1 before printing to make the difference. This small step now being followed by millions, has helped in forest conservation worldwide.

Looks like your trust fund ran dry and the unions aren't willing to put forth more money now that they have gotten their revenge with Hurwitz for breaking the Kaiser strike and Palco is gone. I guess you'll have to grow dope like the rest of the environmental movement.
