Hey guys and galls, I was just wondering if yall knew anything about the new road being built in Graham Gulch (40 degrees 45' 12.99" N 124degrees 02' 50.44" W ) Freshwater. I was walking back there (just like lots of other neighbor's do), and saw that they were using a massive D105 dozer to fill the creek/spawning zone with dirt to make inroads to what i can only imagine is a cutting site. I don't see any THPs listed for this area, but i was wondering if you knew anything about this. or where i can find out.
Nor sure whats going on but I'm interested. You may be able to find out by calling Humboldt Redwood Company directly. They seem to be much more forthcoming with information than PL was. Maybe ask to speak with Mike Jani or the Freshwater area forester.

Oh I really wish I could go.
Thanks for commenting Turnip head. I bet there are similiar gatherings in your region that you could go to. If not you could start your own group.
Yeah there are always beautiful native forests that could need some saving.
Indeed. Have you checked out the Earth First! Journal? They have a lot of info on forest defense around the world.
