Economy and Ecology Facing Global Collapse

As Earths ecosystems decline so does the economy. One fourth of the worlds mammals face extinction. Our global forests are being leveled. The real costs of industrial processing of natural resources have been externalized for centuries. The Earth is paying the price... and so are we.

The generations of the past have stolen from their descendants. It is up to those who are next in line to step up and defend what is left.

Take Action- Earth First!

In the face of this "global" monster - which appears to be moving along with no regard to anything - is protesting logging in CA an effective strategy to reduce adverse effects on a global scale? Considering CA has the most strict rules in the world - and that modern forest practice is reducing any potential impacts to levels of non-significance, should the fight be exported to areas that actually need some form of a grassroots movement?

After reading your posts regarding the elimination of Hurwitz - I wonder if EF should evaluate their position in the world and consider protesting somewhere were real results could be attained:

Siberia? China? And of course the Amazon?
