What's the difference between Earth First! Humboldt and North Coast Earth First!?
Earth First! Humboldt is a new group of activists vowing to take direct action to defend the Earth. We are unrelated to the NCEF! media office and are doing our own media.
The NCEF! media office is one of the last vestiges of the formerly large group North Coast Earth First! and is run by one individual and does only media related activities.
If your not doing direct action then your not Earth First!.
If you used to do Earth First direct actions then you say "I used to be Earth First!" Or you could say "I work for Earth First!ers."

It's one thing to call yourself an Earth First!er. Some people aren't able for one reason or another to be on the front lines but share the sentiment and I think thats what counts. It's another thing to behave as if you represent people who you have little or nothing to do with, as is the case with the above mentioned media office.
